A daredevil cop (Harris Stone) is given a woman partner by his boss (Commander Toole) in an attempt to keep him out of dangerous situations. But his new female partner (Charlotte Heller) is an ex-Navy Seal and has no intentions to play it safe. The two get caught in the middle of a hostage situation in a mall, with explosive consequences.

Oh and guess what IRRESISTABLE FORCE is about ? That`s right it`s a TVM witha family man who works as a detective with only a few months left in the job, and his chief is black and he`s assingned a new female partner who`s got ablack belt in karate . What else can I tell you ? I can`t remember and Ionly watched it last night . That probably tells you a lot in that case

2) What do you get when you combine Stacy Keach and Cinthia Rothrock? An explosive combination of martial arts and fine actingtalent. Stacy Keach is one of my favorite actors and is a truediplomat of the art of good film making. Cinthia is the type ofsweet and sassy babe perfect for her role in this movie. I myselfhave always been afraid of shopping malls, and this movie reallyplayed on my greatest fears in life. All I have to say is wow.

3) I do not care much for stereotypes, simple dialogs, flat action orfalse critics.

This is, why i could only recommend everybody, who wants to spend anice evening with a really funny, witty and action packed movie, tohave a close look at this one. You might consider watching it over andover again, smooth action, nice dialogs, a good script and a lot offun. Earlier movies with C. Rothrock took advantage of her martial artsskills, while later ones were unworthy, compared to here actingtalents. This one has the right mixture, combined with an excellentmale partner, up to the culminating end scene. There are only so manymovies of this quality, so… judge for yourself.

4) Let’s face it, without Rothrock this film would have been as flat as 6month old soda pop. Rothrock added so much to this film with herlightning fast moves, great charm, and excellent scene by scenepresence. No disrespect to Keach but Rothrock could have pulled thisone off alone in Die Hard (ala Bruce Willis) fashion. Christopher Neamewas not very engaging as the bad guy either.

It was these flaws that cost this action drama a shot at at being fullblown TV series. Nonetheless, Rothrock displayed some of her finestmoves. Her close-ups were very nicely done as well. Rothrock does notget the credit she deserves as an accomplished action film star. She isHUGE overseas especially in the far east. It’s a darn shame that theone chance she had to do a network TV series was ruined by the filmmakers inability to compliment her with a good ensemble cast.

5) Stacy Keach plays about to retire former gung ho cop, Harris Stone, who’sjust looking to cruise along until retirement day. Somehow or other he endsup with Charlotte Heller as his new sidekick, which he is initially quitehappy about. What trouble can she cause? Lots. She’s an ex-Navy SEAL(playedby real life martial arts champ, Cynthia Rothrock) and she causes plenty oftrouble. However, Stacy Keach looks bored and Cynthia Rothrock looks moreconcerned about showing off her martial arts prowess to let the film riseabove the ordinary. Stumbling from one disaster to another, they finallyendup confronting a group of terrorists who have taken a hostage in a shoppingmall. Where else? If you’re bored out of your tree and want to waste anhourand a half of your life then watch it. Rating: 3/10
